3 Day/2 Night Masai Mara Safari
Named after the Maasai people and the Mara River, it is famous for the large population of game that inhabit it and the annual migration of zebra and the wildebeest from the Serengeti.
Day 1
Depart Nairobi at approximately 10am for a scenic journey along the great rift valley to the Masai Mara Reserve. There will be a short lunch stop en route in Narok. Upon arrival we will go out on our first game drive in search of the lion, elephant, leopard and cheetah before returning to our camp for dinner and a good nights sleep.
Day 2
Will include morning and afternoon game drives where we can further explore the multitude of wildlife the Masai Mara has on offer. This will be broken up by breaks for breakfast/lunch/dinner.
Day 3
After breakfast depart the campsite for the return journey to Nairobi. A short stop is made at a local manyatta (village) for photos and a brief glimpse into the Maasai way of life. A lunch stop is also made at Narok and we reach Nairobi in the late afternoon.
