Itinerary & Cost

Day 1

Pick up from airport and transfered to a budget (but still comfortable!) Nairobi hotel for the night. After the long flight we're sure you'll want to rest up before your adventure begins!

Day 2

We pick you up at approximately 7am and travel to Amboseli. Mount Kilimanjaro serves as the backdrop to this natural wonder, named after a dried up lake. Endless blue skies and open plains host elephants, rhinos, and hyenas, among other strikingly gorgeous species. Upon arrival we'll enjoy our first game drive after which it'll be quite late so we retreat to the camp site for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Continue your stay at Amboseli with a morning and afternoon game drive. Amboseli is internationally known for its biodiversity, so be sure to soak in every piece of flora and fauna you can. The day is broken up by short breaks for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and accomodation will be camping as the night before.

Day 4

Today we have a very early breakfast as we have a bit of a journey ahead of us as we make our way to Lake Nakuru via Nairobi. Arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for an afternoon game drive. The Great Rift among the Earth’s tectonic plates makes this a startling beautiful expanse of marshland and cliffs. Thousands of flamingos lay claim to Lake Nakuru, as do a good number of pelicans. Buffalo, rhinos and baboons are a few more species you will see in this sanctuary. After our game drive we proceed to the camp site for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Transfer to the Masai Mara Game Reserve after a quick breakfast enjoying a short stop for lunch on route. The enchanted Maasai Mara is home to the migration of more than 2 million game from Tanzania to Kenya, yielding a spectacular sight of prey, predator and scavenger. Among vast fields of gold you are likely to quickly see the “Big Five” – elephant, lion, leopard, zebra and rhino – not to mention plenty of buffalo and wildebeest. Afternoon game drive followed by dinner and overnight stay at the camp site.

Day 6

Bask in more of Maasai Mara’s beauty, which includes the Mara River, where you may be privy to a breath-stopping wildebeest crossing. Take in the charcoal hills, endless plains and picturesque skies and of course enjoy more game drives. The day will be broken up by breaks for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overnight stay same as night before.

Day 7

Optional choice to visit a Masai village before returning to your Nairobi hotel for a well deserved rest.
