Itinerary & Cost

Day 1

After pick up from your hotel at approximately 8am we drive to Naro Moru town where we make a short rest stop for Lunch. We then proceed to the Naro Moru gate where we begin our hike on a dirt track leading to the Met Station. Dinner is served and we spend the night here.

Day 2

From the Met Station we continue our trek out of the forest and enter an area known as the veritcal bog. Midway through the day we have lunch at the picnic rocks before continuing onto Mackinders Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Depart Mackinders after breakfast and trek for about 4 hours to the Austrian Hut. This is the perfect spot to rest before the final trek to Point Lenana as its only one hour away so we have dinner and an overnight stay here.

Day 4

We depart the Austrian Hut at approximately 0530am leaving us just enough time to make it to Point Lenana to see the sun rise. We then begin our descent from Mount Kenya after breakfast at the Austrian Hut heading to the Met Station for Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

After breakfast we begin the final descent to the Naro Moru park gate so we can get in the vehicle for our journey back to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at your hotel late afternoon/early evening.
